Guys,
Just finished before Xmas this James Green blank. The first time turning my own grip from some flor grade rings. I tried to create a 6 1/2" Ritz style grip with a slight full wells swell that fit my hand (a little oversized). The blank sports a Ray Lee seat, Anthony 10mm stripping guide, Snake Brand black nickel snake guides and tip top wrapped in Fuji ultra poly thread in golden rod 014. Only a bit of lawn casting so far but, it's really balanced up and down the length of the blank and very smooth overall. Reminds me of the YouTube video of Chris Barclay casting a 3wt James Green 3wt. I think I'm going to have a lot of fun with it.
Chris

Nice build! Glad to see more James Green blanks popping up here recently. The cork looks top notch, both in quality and craftsmanship.

Good looking beer too - the Hopsecutioner IPA reminds me of the good old days in Athens.

Here’s a couple of Montana Trout rods, both are 7’6” M765L light” for shorter casts. Both are Sglass.
