I recently finished up a couple new rods I am working on. These new Heritage Black rods fall right in line with the much sought after Spruce creek feel. This line up should complement or fall right between the Steffen glass rods, and my Nomad series of rods (still working on final tapers for those), I also have a similar design in yellow glass "Heritage gold" that will be unveiled soon.

These blanks are not painted, and are un sanded UNI S glass.... but they are not fast action or meant to be fast. They have a smooth, full flex and super easy cast.

Currently I finished up a 4wt & 5wt, a 3wt & 6wt are almost finished. Blanks are available if you want to build yourself one.

7'6" 4wt 3pc

8'0" 5wt 3pc

How do these compare to the Trout Smiths rods? I love the 7 weight brute and 2 weight brookie that I have.
