Here is a latest build to leave the shop for a first time customer in Texas:

CTS Quartz 8ft 4wt 4pc in "Pure". First time building on this color blank!

Lemke LC-7, Redwood Burl insert, Western Grip, Arguello Red/Orange Agate, Snake Brand Universals, all hardware in Bright Nickel. Customer wanted "clear" wraps with trim bands that matched the Agate, so I went with Clover Silk.

Thank you for looking!

That came out nice Bill! I kind of like the blank color.

Great looking reel seat and I had to actually enlarge the photos to see where the invisible wraps are. Nice build!

Great work. Those transparent wraps look fantastic.

Bill,
Per our conversation a couple of weeks ago, your finishing work on the wraps is aspirational for many of us. Really beautiful job, instead of be like Mike, I want to be like Bill. Thanks for your tips when we talked.

Great workmanship Bill! I haven’t cast the 804-4, but my 804-3 Quartz is a nice casting/fishing rod. True to weight with a DT4 line. I’m sure your client will enjoy it.

Thank you for the positive comments!

In case anyone is wondering, I used a standard viscosity (high build) 2 part thread finish on it. 2 coats, nothing added to increase the viscosity.
