After having this blank laying around for nearly 2 years, i decided to give it wrap so the rod can live a life at the creek or stream in the coming season…

Blank is a CTS Quartz 4pc 8ft 4wt in satin cappuccino with custom colored blank specs in black on it -

I decided for silk wraps with soie au ver in brown and a super light cream color

Lemke Hardware, REC sl guides, Struble Agate , classic cigar grip and a subtle dark walnut insert to be complete.

thanks for looking!

Nice build! I like the color scheme. I had to make a cup of coffee after looking at this.

Man, that’s nice! I like that you incorporated single foot guides-which are kind of “new school,” but the handle, seat, silk thread & spiral wraps make a nod towards tradition. I agree that the color choices are great-surprising you let it set for almost 2 years!

Absolutely beautiful. Who made the rod sock, can’t read the script?

Beautiful job - love the color choices and the spiral wraps too! I don't know what it says about me, but the word 'sexy' popped into my head when viewing the pictures......
