Here my latest model.

The Morning Glory in green with black ferrules in a 7’5” 4wt. ( also available in orange )
Insert is a piece of wood from a Dutch East Indian Company vessel, nickel silver hardware, top flor cork are all home made.
Snake Brand guides and Joe Arguello stripping are all wrapped with Au Ver a Soi silk.

Hope you like it.

Nico,

Well done. That reel seat wood is impressive.

Nicely done! Haven't seen cork of that quality in a while. The source of the reel seat insert is very cool.

I wouldn't have thought of using the blue for the wraps but they look nice. As does the agate.

Agree on the blue. That's such a classy look. Very nice build.

Beautiful rod. The blue agate is the crown jewel.

Great build!

I like the reduction to what is necessary, the precision reflected in house made parts and the choice of colours. Traditional French silk and the agate are matching the ideal of making a rod perfectly. Great inspiration again.
Thanks.

Dirk
