My parents are moving to a retirement community, which involves going from their house to a 2 bedroom and den apartment. I went up to visit and help them get some stuff packed and moved a couple of weeks ago. While I was there, my dad gave me some rods and reels (glass and graphite) that he wasn't using anymore (some for me and some for me to try and sell for him). One was an FF60, K serial number, that he bought many years ago. The cap had $28.99 written on it. He also gave my a Ryobi reel with 5 wt line for it. Can't wait to get out and try it this spring. I also got a Fenwick FL96-6 that he made way back. I've got to go thru the other stuff and will hopefully post some of it for sale soon.

Yes, great combo...I believe the FF60 was the only Fenwick production fly rod with a double slide band seat, and they only made it for a couple years...so a pretty uncommon configuration (for a Fenwick)...that should be a really fun combo to catch even smaller fish on.
