This rod was built on a Haldin S glass 703/3 blank. Excellent medium fast action with a nice soft tip. The blank flexes 3/4 way down the blank and cast a beautiful loop with from 15 to 45ft. Cast it with a Blue Halo WF 3 F line and the combination worked wonderfully. Not sure of the rod’s weight but it feels like nothing in the hand. A great small stream rod with ability to cast dries, dry/ dropper, small nymphs and steamers. Can’t wait for spring for bluegill fishing with this rod.
