Just thought I would share my newly completed ********* 903 blank that I got from Dusty a while back. I thought I might try some nymphing next year. The grip and reel seat filler is hand-turned cork, and the seat hardware is Lemke that I got from SW Custom Rods. Guides are Pacific Bay, and the thread is prowrap.

Thanks,
John

Looking forward to fishing reports - should be fantastic for wet fly.

Very nice job John. I like the hardware, cork work and thread work. Is it pro wrap orange and brown tiger thread? Hope to wiggle it on the Farmy come spring!

Thanks guys, looking at the pictures, I see they are not the best pictures for this format.

I am sure the rod will handle wet flies just as well as nymphs. Pat, the thread is tiger wrap, just the red/white color. It is a little bigger than size A thread, but it works. Thanks Jude, Livingstone rods look good with just about any color these days.

I will see you on the Farmington, and bring this rod along to try out.

John

Very cool build. I like it a lot.

I have one of these that I haven't been able to get on the water yet. Really looking forward to taking it out in the spring.
