Built this rod for my middle daughter. NFC Iconoglass 7'6" 4wt in Cyan. Transparent wraps are light blue silk with black NOCP inlays. Hardware is CRB light wire snake guides. Reel seat is from custom fly rod crafters. Thanks for looking! One of my best builds so far.

NIce work! I really like the pink trim bands around the hook keeper.

Was tempted to purchase this color but I’ve already got 2 Haldins. Nice work.

Baldknobber - I'll tell my daughter, she picked the pink. Had to get it in there somewhere!

I have one of these blanks on the way. Couldn’t find any specs on the NFC site re: guide spacing, tip & butt size.
I’d like to order the rest of the components. (Before it arrives) If you have that info, id appreciate it.
How does your daughter like the rod?
Very nice work. I like the translucent wrap!

Brayhaven,

The info Is there, but it’s not obvious how to find it. Click on the little “+” symbol to the left of the blank listing.

Thanks Gaddis.
The tip size was there, 4.0, but no guide spacing info. Butt size is listed as .427 in the product description.

Guide spacing is rarely listed, as most rodbuilders prefer to determine their own spacing.

The information is well hidden on the NFC website. There is a page for guide spacing and the Iconoglass rods are listed in the table. Type "IG" into the search box at the top of the page. The tip and butt diameters are listed on the individual product page for the blank under the "Additional Information" tab. Tip diameters vary, so maybe wait for the rod blank to arrive before ordering. Or buy extra tips in extra sizes.

Very nicely done , also very convincing for wanting to try out one of those blanks for a future build myself …?
