After reading posts about pack rods and getting some member advice from Bulldog1935 on a reel to match, I ended up with this Tri Sport / Martin SS combo and am pleased as punch. Thanks for the help!

that's a nice pairing.
Would love to see photos of the spigot ferrules.
My long-term inshore spinning and bass rod from high school was a Berkley TriSport.

thanks for that - looks like a sweet rod - my MH TriSport had a metal spigot - but a great workhorse rod from bass to spanish macks on the jetties.
