Hi there,

here is another glass stick with a very special look.

The blank comes from japanese Blank and rod builder Y. Kabuto.
A superb blank that casts really nice.
The Skateboard reel seat is made by Jory Ward combined with dark Lembke Hardware.

Used some portuguese top Flor cork for the grip.

Guides: 8+1 light wire snake brand with a starter from perfect agate.

Wrapping is black and yellow silk from Pearsell Gossamer.

nice build and great blank,i have one built by Matt Liederman,i fish it with a WF3 airflo and a DT4 406 lines.

What skateboard deck was used ? that is the coolest idea i have seen in ages - well done ~
Gorgeous build quality on top ~ mad skills.

In case anyone ever wondered - I skateboarded for a way over a decade.. even got signed by Tony Magnusson to Hstreet.
Team MindGrind. SkateMaster Tate was my neighbor.

Really creative and super use of scraps with that seat Jens.
You made a new something that will now stick in my craw.
New Ideas.

Hi Brian, seen that style on some glass rods from Jory Ward - and what shall I say...I was hooked ;-)
He glues different decks over and over. That is where the mix of the color comes from.
Due to the fact that I would have to buy numerous old skater decks to build that reel seat on my own, I decided to contact Jory to buy one. He is a very kind guy, highly recommended! Cheers Jens
