just finished that rod so be careful trout out there ;-)
That blank is really adorable Dusty (if you read this). Not far away from perfection for dryfly fishing.

As it is a mixture of carbon and e-glass in this blank I decided to show it to you here ;-)

This rod is dedicated to one of the most beautiful fish that mostly live in rivers of Italy, Slovenia and Croatia - the Marmorata trout!

I‘m really a fan of that fish - that‘s why I painted a Simms cap with its colors as well.

To complete that rod I added a Trutta reel from vrreels. Great stuff!!! The two just belong together....

So here are the details of the rod:

Blank: ********* YS 9‘ #3 (USA)
Spacer: stabilized birch (Finland)
Hardware: Garrison style titanium grey
Guides: 10+1 snake brand + Struble agate (USA)
Wrapping: black with metallic copper (Japan)
Grip: Flor cork (Portugal) custom burned and painted by myself (Germany)

Well done! Hope you get some marbles in Slovenia. I fished there a couple of days in 2018 and got some bows but no marbles.
