Finished this rod a few weeks ago, but just found time to take some pics...

Built this one with shopmade bimetal hardware and matching ferulle rings, snake brand unis, perfect europe agate guide and wrapped it with Kimono silk. Light cp grey silk tipping and expoxy coatings...

I really like the taper of the Lotic series, even if its kind of faster but doesnt lack of feeling overall. It runs perfectly with a SA Creek in 4wt.

Beautiful build. I too really like that reel seat and also the grip. Did you turn the grip yourself? It’s contour reminds me of a Kenney grip. And do you happen to know the length of the grip?

Absolutely beautiful. I have the 5 weight and love it, but your build blows the doors off the factory rendition!

Wow. Just seeing this and I’ll repeat the elegant description. I love the hardware too with the nice addition of those matching ferrule rings. That perfect Europe agate guide is stunning.

Great looking rod .
I was able to cast a Lotic @ the Lancaster Pa fly fishing show last year.
I really enjoyed the crispness compared to some other modern glass rods I’ve tried.
As a Phillipson Junkie i am just loving the metal trim bands on the ferrules .
