Recently finished up this 8ft Algonquin needed new wraps and guides as the cork was immaculate. Anyone here have any of these Canadian Tire specials? Through what I found out and I could be mistaken these have ties to Fenwick??

I have one that I’ve stripped down to a blank and is sitting waiting to be rebuilt. I think some Algonquins were relabeled Fenwicks and the model numbers match the Fenwick models. This series of rods, though, is different and I dont think they are Fenwick made (unless they are pre-Feralite models, which I’ve never seen). I suspect they might be St. Croix made based on blank colour.
