Nice outfit.

My favorite pike and muskie rod is my Fenwick FF9010 and Medalist 1496 1/2 reel but for pike i like some smaller vintage glass too.

I roll with an Epic Bandit (1st Gen) but also have a North Fork Composites Iconoglass 10wt being built currently. On occasion, I'll throw a Seele Salz Pro 12wt, but that thing is a beast that becomes not-so-fun to cast after a short bit.

Edit: I'll get pics of them up in a little bit.

That NFC Iconoglass looks nasty! The salt water style upper cork grip may come in handy.

Who is doing the build?

The Behemoth is the right reel for the job too -- no nonsense, rugged, reliable drag and affordable. I have one on my 10 wt a now discontinued TFO.

Congrats,
Heddonist

The bottom one is the Seele (but I AM having him go for another Denver Bronco color scheme on the Iconoglass...ha!)

Really looking forward to getting my hands on the Iconoglass.

My friend Terry is doing the build. I think he posts here on occasion (Piscator54 or something like that).

Nice rods and photos clarkman. Im new to this huge fly stuff. I currently have Echo Bag 10 and 12 wts, Fenwick ff9010 and ff9012, a Phillipson 9wt and i just picked up a used ff9311. After test casting the Ff9311 with a 10wt pike and muskie line I am convinced this will be my goto rod as the 9010 was a little underpowered with that line but on the 9311 its a cannon.

That El Bandito artwork is fantastic & reminds me of getting whacky pack stickers growing up. Got to catch more fish with that...
