As a fun build, I put originality aside and copied the design of an old Shakespeare model called the Wonderod. Since sharing it on Facebook a few weeks ago I've had the pleasure of seeing photos and hearing stories of other's original Wonderods.
In hind sight I might have made a few small changes to some hardware but I'm happy the way it turned out. With the reel seat mounted upside down and a butt fitted over the hood this replica is going to be fun to fish for wherever it ends up,.... I haven't decided.
Cheers, and as always thanks in advance for looking and for your comments.
- Mike
