Belatedly taking some photos of a couple rods I finished a while ago.

First is an Epic 580 in amber with a black nickel Lemke seat and Australian lacewood spacer. I don’t remember the thread but it’s a sort of butterscotch-y silk.

The second is the now discontinued Fred Paddock 8’3” 6wt. What an elegant trout 6wt this blank is! Beautiful casting rod.

The seat is from Matt at Proof with a simple red oak spacer. This thread I remember: Pearsalls Gossamer in scarlet. I love the way it looks on the natural blank.

Nice work. Can you tell me what Lemke seat is on the first rod?

Well done, indeed. You're a builder after my own heart with that grip style. Its gone on my last few builds and feels great all day. A 3wt T&T NOS graphite gets it next.

I had to look it up: LC7 “Retro” in black nickel. I got it from Custom Fly Rod Crafters - they have them in stock.
