Currently in lock-down here in New Zealand, so using the time wisely to work on a number of Epic builds. From left to right:

Epic Boca Grande 1280: Equipped with a titanium reel seat and color-matched glass reel seat insert. Built for a Tarpon trip that I was planning on the back of a work trip to Tampa (that has now been canceled due to COVID), so will probably sell, as nothing big enough down here to warrant me having a 12 weight!

Epic 686: Building for a client in Norway.

Epic 580: Building for a client in New Zealand, with a down-locking Lemke seat and green spalted maple insert

Epic 476 Packlight (five piece): Building to sell, but love this rod so much I may just have to keep it!

That's a handful alright. How about some close up pics of the wraps, seats etc?

A 12 weight through 4 weight should handle just about any opportunity that shows up! They look great.

Great looking rods with exceptional cork.

Sure thing, these are in various stages of being finished as I write this, so once the rod finish is on, I'll post some better close-ups.

Lovely work. I'm planning a 5-pce Packlight for my next project, just as a backup rod (in case the inevitable happens on the first day of a five day headwaters trip) and wondering about the action compared to the 476. Guessing it's ever so slightly stiffer which isn't a bad thing ... any thoughts?
