Just finished this ********* 8’ 5wt...Think I’ll keep this one to go with my LRC 3wt.

Lime green silk, green Struble agate, and Bellinger nickel silver downlocking seat with maple insert...For some reason, I love the green on this rod.

Thanks very much guys...That white "canvas" lends itself to so many colors, but I keep coming back to the lime green...I have another blank exactly the same I'm getting to; might have to see what another color looks like...

I have seen a lot of white blanks, thought the thread work was great, nice reel seat, etc but white not for me. Until now, every element of this build simply blends so beautifully that the finished result rivals any $5,000 plus custom boo built. One look simply is all it takes.
Now you need to follow up with functionality report of Dusty’s taper.
