As I was working on the other Fisher I posted a few weeks back, I was contacted by a long time client about doing a Winston inspired Fisher build for him. The blank he sourced was in great shape and dead straight (not always the case w/ these older blanks). We opted to go for a finish that is a bit more in line w/ the western rivers and big streamers that lie in this rod's future.
