I finished out another pair of the Red Truck Glass rods. These blanks are prices just right, and the quality, flex and feel are great. I was able to get one un ferruled so I could ferrule with black spigots. The reel seats are from Ray Lee, and are a flush mount up locking slide band. Ray had sent me a sample/proto of the butt cap and I asked him to send me a couple up lock seats with the nickle silver end caps, I assumed I would get a hood that needed to be inlet but he sent the up lock pocket caps that fit flush to the cork, an interesting look for sure and they feel good on these rods. I did inlet the cork just a little so the pocket caps would push just slightly into the back end.

The photos are not great... snow flurries and dark in Michigan the day I snapped these pics.
