Some really nice combos in this thread so far. I'm fond of the Steffen 763/4 paired with an old Ross Colorado 1.

However, the I also enjoy the Hardy Marquis 7 on Steffen's 805/6. The Marquis is a little out of focus here.

Nice!

By the way, some Beaver took on a big job with the tree your outfit rests on (second photo).

Yep - there are some serious beavers around that stream, and they've put some big trees in there!

One of the few 70p's not built by Chris (built by me) and one of the two CFO 123s left to me by my brother-in-law.

About 3' to the nearest cuttie...

Hey Randy,
As an aesthetically pleasing pairing, you can just put your extra CFO 123 with that 1 weight rod when you send it to me. ;)

CTS 686 with Marryat CMR 78 reel. The reel seat was maple but I painted it myself.

Cti111 - This may not be a competition, but if it were you would have won hands down in my view! Gorgeous collection!

Greetings!

I recently purchased a Steffen 805/6. Are there any other reels you like on this rod model? Lines?

Thanks in advance.

Things were getting a little steamy between these two when I interrupted them.
Parametric Curt Gowdy and his date, Martin MG-7LS. Don't judge! :lol
