No votes. More fishing rod photos with aesthetically pleasing fish in them.

Variations on a small reel theme. BPS UL Classic reels on 3 weight rods.

This is a “nude” Ijuin Yomogi that I supplied as a blank to Matt Leiderman, he built it to compliment my very special Kineya Model 200

This one isn't mine but I think it fits in this thread nicely. My friend Mako, of ncaflyfish, built this Lotic 3 weight and gave it the proper T&T heritage treatment. And what better reel to go with it than a T&T heritage model.

The Hardy Perfection with the Duchess is the one I would want but Honorable Mention goes to The Green Machine.

Nothing exotic, but they sure do perform on my mountain creeks...Orvis Superfine Glass 7ft 3wt rod with an Orvis CFO II (Abel) reel. Bought these new when Orvis launched them on the market a few years ago and have enjoyed them ever since...

Twas fun to see those photos again. Good stuff like the green Wonder rod with green condex was eye catching.

Okay here are 3 photos of same Fisher rod built by Andy with original real seat and my later modfications.

Original reel seat matched with a Hardy golden LRH

Rod with original reel seat removed and replaced with sliding reel seat plus an Andy supplied removable butt extension for throwing heavier line. Martin 5/6 LRM reel was a little light but had the heavier line on it that day.

Finally, rod with sliding rings and Hardy golden LRH. I just love sliding rings on a cork reel seat. Secure, simple, functional and beautiful! BTW, the original removable fight butt extension also can be used should I go after buffalo fish again.

Late to this party (and opening with a bamboo because it’s so pretty) but here’s my Chris Raine 7042 Winston taper with the Ross Colorado LT.

And my older generation Ross San Miguel Two on a ********* YS Glass 9’ 3wt build by Shopkeeper.
