Well,
I was hoping to fish this this weekend,but was advised to let the varnish cure for at least a week.It's 3 coats of Gudebrod resin (not water!) based finish. I actually enjoy the lustre and depth it gives to wraps. I used garnet-black-and goldenrod. Sure feels sweet - next week,I'll have it on the stream.comments - opinions
welcome ... I'm an amateur rod builder,and this is my first glass build.

Very nice work. Those colors look great on that blank. I have similar colors in mind for a Fenglas I am re-wrapping. I really like that goldenrod tipping.
