pleased really doesn't describe how happy i am with this rod. the wraps are absolutely beautiful. almost broke out in a chorus of "rock chalk, jayhawk" when i saw the rod. very, very, very nice job. the rod will sling my Orvis clearwater 6wf a country mile. pleasant to cast and feels very light in the hand. i have no doubt this will become my go to warmwater rod this spring. thanks lou. if anyone is thinking about this blank or having lou build it for you, don't hesitate, you will not be disappointed.
