It's not a flyrod, but thought someone might be interested.
1949 Shakespeare Wonderod Model 1190L Baitcasting rod made for the Shakespeare Company founder Wm. Shakespeare Jr. less than a year before his death.

I have a rod that looks just like this except it does not have the "William Shakespeare Jr." on it. It only has the wonderod sticker. Model FJF No. 1190L.

It has a steel grip and the Shakespeare 1965 Professional Reel model RV (Nickle Silver). It also has the cloth cover for the rod.

I am trying to find the history on this rod and reel. Any information you can share would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
