The insects that are pretty important for the trout on Balkan rivers are different species from the Ecdyonurus family.
The nymphs live beyond the rocks, so they are not so easy pray for trout.

Spinner falls are when the magic happens, since the females go back to the water surface to lay eggs.
Seeing trout jump out from the water trying to catch these insects while they are mating is not uncommon.

For the body of the flies, I use Hareline turkey biot in mahogany and brown colour.
Before wrapping a biot, I cover the underbody with thin layer of super glue to make the fly more durable.

Thanks guys.

Pecos, on the first photo the hook is Gamakatsu F11-3F, on the second is the old Partridge Capt. Hamilton dry. I think they stop producing it.

Hooks such as Kamasan B400 and Tiemco 100 in sizes 10 and 12 would be a good choice as well.
