I've tied this version of the Wooly Bugger, too. I didn't know about Mottlebou, so i just used tan marabou. Great fly and you have to love the name. Good video.

Thanks,
steve

I was wondering where you purchased the olive and brown chennile.I can find other variegated chenille but not brown and olive.

Hmm, I am sure I got it at one of my local fly shops, either Lund's Fly Shop in River Falls, WI, or Bob Mitchell's Fly Shop in St. Paul... I would guess your local shop could order some for you from Hareline or Wapsi...

I dont have a car right now so I cant get to my favourite fly shop in London Ont.Even though he doesnt have it listed on the internet he might have it in his shop.He might also have coyote fur.Im going to have to get my brother to take a cruise down there and take a bunch of money with me.The only one so far on the internet that has it is J.Stockard.His shipping is $29.00 for $4 worth of chennile. That pattern is exactly the thing I am looking for for a wooly bugger. For the hackle I was thinking of mixing grizzly and brown to replace cree which is hard to find and is expensive.
