That will work! I like simple and love CDC. My most productive fly is a CDC body and CDC wing caddis.

One of the most effective flies I tie uses just hare's ear dubbing, sparse guinea hen hackle and thread. Awesome magic soft hackle for my westslope cutthroat (and rainbow and other species as well).
