My HMH Spartan has served me well over the years. I'm on my second set of standard jaws, but as my tying has gradually gone larger and larger, I've purchase the magnum jaws which work for 99% or my current tying as they go from size 12 to at least 6/0 (I haven't tried anything larger, but I tie a ton of stuff on 4/0-6/0 these days).

This is what is normally in it. You're lucky I had just cleaned off the table here, but normally I have to bust out the vacuum to get everything. Tying musky flies is messy business. Cheers!

I have an old straight vise for needles for tube flies and I mostly use this for the last few years.

Renzetti, al fresco tying. I don’t even care about the rotary function, just hold the hook securely, please, and that it does.

Man, Y'all keep some clean tying stations!

This Regal is from when they first made a "rotary" model, purchased when I was an employee of the RiverBend Sport Shop in Southfield, MI around '91 (!)
Perfect for the flies I tie and it's been with me from Alaska to Brasil!

Absolutely thrilled with my Regal Vise. From Muskie flies to midges, and a few odd flies in between.....

Here's one for you. It's a prototype rotary vise that I bought from Ed Koch in 1974 or so when he had his fly shop up on the Yellow Breeches. Very simple and actually works fine, the thumb screw on top loosens the shaft so you can spin the head. The small collar on the up-shaft if for a thread rest that I don't use. The blue plastic knob was modified by my labrador retriever who decided it made a good chew toy.
