An Al Troth Bullhead

It's a long story. I'm in the process of photographing someone else's fly collection. This is an Al Troth Bullhead. Tied by Al himself. I have a bunch more Al Troth flies to photograph yet. I'll tack a few more photos onto this thread eventually--as I make them. Al's best known fly was the (Troth) Elk Hair Caddis. That's a fly that will probably still be in fly shops a century from now. If there are fly shops in a century from now. I'll add the Elk Hair Caddis photo in a day or two.

I agree,and i guess it does resemble a bullhead.Looks like it will swim well.
