Here are some pictures of a build I'm doing on a blank from James Green in his new "Montana Trout" series of blanks. Named as such because he designed them while in Montana, as far as I understand.
Anyway... the builds coming along well, and it's a nice semi-para action, 2-piece rod. But I'm looking for some tips for the script/signature. As you can see, my hand writing isn't that good. Plus, I write left handed, so fountain nibs don't work well for me. I've begun using acid free, archival quality, pigment pens. They work well to color thread as well, and they work well with both Epoxy and Varnish.
But any tips out there to make the scripting look nice?
