I’d bin it.
I believe it contains xylene

I just bought some to replace my own dried out jar.

I put a couple of layers of cling wrap over the top of the new jar which seems to help with many things that have a tendency to dry out over time. We'll see what happens the next time I need it.

There is also this which I assume would work, but it costs more than a new jar of U-40. ;)

Good luck!

It lasts longer when kept in the fridge. Pour a little out instead of applying it straight out of the bottle. Wipe the rim off with solvent on a paper towel, or the lid will stick and crack. I’ve kept using the same bottle for a couple years this way.

Chuck it, get a fresh supply.

You can re-liquify as I've done it on an ancient half bottle before. Thing is, it takes forever to set up properly and harden for fishing use. Fine once it does, but in no way worth the effort to get it useable again. Only reason I did this is because it was all I had left and it was an experimental re-do/re-org of some guides. (never again)
