Does anyone know of a source of this thread (what did Gudebrod actually call this color)? I have been using the search term 'multicolor, but not sure that's what it should be called. Need it for a fly rod 'renew' over the winter. I've searched the usual suspects, auction site and Etsy, but no luck.

Thank you for any leads.

Joe

I think it used to be called rainbow wraps too. I have one spool but not sure what color you need. I think its size A.

P51-

thank you for the reply. I found a source for silk Gudebrod, but am awaiting a reply. Unfortunately, I am colorblind, so I can't tell you the color combination. Its hard to get a picture of, but this is the butt wrap. Is your spool close?

thanks

Joe

I THINK it was called "Space Dyed" thread but it came in LOTS of options like single colors with white like black & white or red & white or two colors like red & yellow, etc.

I don't have any, but check your PM.

Joe,

My spool looks slightly different. Mine has some green and blue in it,, hard to tell if you have all the same colors. Bruce

Search "variegated rod wrapping thread" or "space dyed rod wrapping thread"

Get someone who is not colorblind to tell you the colors used and their sequence so that you can look one that matches.
