I have a nice old Fenwick FF70 that was no doubt leaned up against a wall for a period of time and has a bend to it. Is it possible to have this repaired? It doesn't affect casting performance but it's definitely noticeable when you spin the rod.

It is possible.....but.....you would look real hard to find a rod that does not have some sort of set or bend to it. So how bad is it??

I have straightened rods by doing just what bent them in the first place....bending em the other way and leaving em that way for a looooong time.

I was thinking of doing that same thing. It's not too bad. Going to sell it.
