Gary those Heddons are SWEET! Beautiful job. The Allan seats, thread colors and trim look great!

I finally finished my FF75 winter project. Thanks Gary for starting up this thread and to all who joined in. Some really neat stuff here. Keep it going! My next project is to clean up an repair the metal tube for this rod...this is the tube it arrived in... dings dents and grime!

That Fenwick came out better than factory fresh.
I’m already planning next Winter projects. One is an old Action Glass. Just because being a Detroit boy it was one of the first brands I fished.
Other Winter projects may get sold/auctioned off and the money going to a charity.

Fingers crossed it’ll be ready for the first coat of epoxy tonight. I had to rewrap some guides and I am currently working on trim bands which are one of my least favorite parts of rod building with silk! Until then, here’s some quick progress pictures and my two reel options!

Got pretty motivated today. Ended up getting the thinned layer of epoxy down this evening

The red truck turned out awesome! Huge shot out to Cam for suggesting this blank when I was looking for something to put this reel seat on!

Nice builds all around.
If everyone wants I’ll start Winter build 4.0 again later this year.
I’ve already got two candidates.
An Action glass 8’
Shakespeare Diana cane rod

I have a few “projects” that could possibly be added to the list! I have a shineCTS Quartz 7wt as well as a few too many Bamboo sticks that need a good once over...
