I'm building a couple of 8 weights for saltwater and I was wondering if there is anything I need to consider in prepping the feet on titanium guides. I know part of the answer will depend on how they're made, so to be specific I'm using the REC heavy duty snakes, and Fuji Titanium SiC stripping guides (in the K-series). I'm specifically wondering if grinding down the feet will compromise their corrosion resistance. Thanks!

You should be fine. The guide feet should be completely sealed with whatever thread finish you are using.
