I have two Fenwick FL 90-5 rods that I plan to rebuild. One is brown and the other yellow. Does anyone have recommended guide spacing for this model. Sold originally as blanks only, the two I currently own have the guides spaced in different locations. Can anyone offer proper guide spacing for this model. Thanks in advance for any help.

I use guide charts as a reference to start with. Since you have the other rods you can use them for guide sizing, amount, and beginning placement. Then from there you can do some static testing for a more precise placement.

John,
That blank is very close to the FF75 factory rod. If you would like to use that guide spacing, let me know and I will measure it out for you.

Glass stixs,

I know it is very similar to the FF75 and I was hoping someone would be willing to measure that rod. If you don't mind posting the measurements I would be very grateful. Thanks for your help.

4. 20 7/8"
5. 28 3/8"
6. 36 1/16"
7. 44 3/4"

Butt section from the end of the male ferrule (including the rubber stopper).
1: 12 9/16" stripper guide

Glass stixs,

Thanks a million. I love this board and people's willingness to help each other.
Now on to building.
