I paid a fraction of what these originally listed for. Bought it from a friend for what he paid for it awhile ago. Never used and no longer in production.
Was an attempt by a Korean gentleman to add a little artistic flair to limited production fly reels.
I believe he has since relocated back to South Korea and still makes reels for the Asian market.
It is a basic bi-directional clicker without an adjustable drag.
This one looks to be an early basic prototype because the higher end ones had laser engraving and epoxy inlays.
Most had individual pillars but this one has a cage with removable end plates.
The main reason I bought it was to go with my FF804-2 J 4wt. The aluminum seems to match the reel seat and the weight feels perfect for this rod.
I have been fishing this rod with a 3Wt WF line and it still requires a very slow casting stroke.
It has a great sound to the clicker and hopefully it last awhile because I doubt parts are available.
I just figured out that this I a ZYZ-033. Not a Willow Classic. Still a nice little reel.
