Steve here, new to the forum. I am looking at purchasing a (new old stock) Eagle Claw EC12 and am wondering if anyone can tell me if this reel can be converted to Left Hand?

Thanks so much. I love the history of fishing, and especially fiberglass fly fishing rods and classic fly reels. I've been tying flies and fly fishing on and off since the 1960s.

Yes, the reel can be easily converted to LHW. You have to flip the pawls, and the line guard. Here is my EC-14 set up for LHW.

I Like the way these reels can switch from RH to LH.
