I put my Cortland Sylk DT6F on one of the spools of that screwback III I recently purchased. I think there is 30-40 yards of backing, and it's full. I'm sure that the DT6F Peach would not fit.

Edit: I measured the backing behind the Sylk DT6F, and is 16 yards. I put a Rio Technical Trout WF4F on the 20th anniversary CFO and it has 50 yards.

If you need more backing use gel-spun.

I purchase the 150 yard spool of 30lb YO-ZURI SUPERBRAID line from Wal-Mart which is gel-spun backing in the fly fishing realm, only less expensive when not associated with fly fishing. If you really want to pack it on get the 20lb spool.

Thanks Cappy. I have never seen the backing with any trout I have caught, so I'm not too worried about how much backing is there. :eek
