Hi Gents.
What reels have you guys seen on glass TMRs. The reel seats are kind of a shiny polished gun metal color. It seems like basic or satin black might be best, but I'd put something on with a touch of red if I found it. TMR calls the color, Merlot, and while some of the pictures that you see are dark burgundy, but sometimes they almost look red, hence my request for some more opinions. I'm sure I'll get a clicker in new or like-new model.
Thanks for any ideas.

You left out the most important thing - length and line weight.

But if you want pretty, how about St. George - this is the c. 2000 reproduction - 500 reels were made in each wind direction.

I use a 2-13/16" "Baby" Bougle on my 7'0" 3wt TMR.

The reel you describe
perhaps is a Godfrey Westminster Brown Trout.

Thank guys. You’ve got me investigating each of those now. Mine is a 7’10” 4 wt. I’m not a real brush breaker and I always wished my the 7’0 glass rod was longer. I was afraid the full 8’0 might make me fell like I was losing a little small stream intimacy, but I also wasn’t a little butt strength. If I can see the fish down there, I’m not averse to putting on a small nymph rig for a few minutes. I’m splitting hairs I know, but that’s the length I ended on. Also, I’ve got nice graphite in 386 if the distance starts to stretch at all, so this rod is 0-35’ rod.

That length rod screams Hardy Lightweight LRH or Golden Lightweight LRH at least to me Can't go wrong with any of the above. The 3" St. George re-issues in hand wind of your choosing is a top choice, but a little harder to find. Wish I owned one actually. Fabulous looking rod!!!

Hey Folks.
I've decided on a Hardy Duchess, the latest one ( if there is an earlier one ). Thank you for the suggestions. I'll post a pic of the outfit when it shows up.
