Can anyone participating on the FFR Reel Board provide the instructions to convert the retrieval side for Fly Logic FLP reels? A 2008 FFR posting had photos of the instruction manual for this reel (viewtopic.php?f=4&t=6938&p=45609&hilit=flylogic#p45609), but the images are too fuzzy to make out accurately. I am inclined to believe it is not that complicated, but instructions will ensure I will avoid mistakes.

Thanks,
Warren

You have to flip the roller bearing clutch - or maybe it's a pancake friction washer.
Still hard to read, but here's what it says

(this was trying to enhance the photo you linked)

Remove the spool from the frame
Remove the screw and take off the drag knob (A)
With a 5/8" wrench, remove the ... nut
Remove the red washer ... and clutch assembly (C)
Turn the clutch over and replace all the parts in reverse order

FLO or FLP Series? Here are pics of the FlyLogic manual for the FL Premium (FLP) series reels:

It appears the Fly Logic FLO (Fly Logic Optimum) and FLP (Fly Logic Premium) have different methods of changing the retrieve direction. I have the FLP-456 reel paired with a Fly Logic FLP+ 5 wt. rod. This is one of the few graphite rods I can cast well. It is more a moderate action than most graphite rods made today and reminds me of the Redington Classic Trout rods.. They were made in Idaho from about 1995 to about 2010. I do not know what happened to the company, but I liked their products. I got mine at a garage sale while traveling in the Salt Lake area.

Thanks a million for sharing the owner's manuals for these reels.
