Two years For Christmas my wife had this cool wall art made out of some medalist reel papers that came with a few reels I was gifted from a guy in my fishing club.
The trout print is By Yvonne Torrelli from Maryland’s eastern shore.
She sells her art at many of the winter/spring fishing flea markets in Maryland
It’s matted in like a sage green trimmed in Pale orange With a classy frame job done locally.
It’s in a corner of the den that doesn’t get direct light so I’m hoping it’s lasts.

Well now, that's cool. I have some reel papers, although they may not be in as good condition as yours. I just might try this.

Thanks for posting this.
steve

BTW. Did you iron them to get the creases out?

That does look good.
I have these pages in rustic frames.

This old advertisements look pretty cool. Do you have any higher res photos?
I have a couple those Bristol rods. Afraid to use them because they look like rolled steel with a seam. I am afraid a good bass would just bend it. Fun to lawn cast with old Pflueger casting plugs. And the trigger grip just feels nice in the hand. Hard to accidentally lose your grip with that behind your index finger.

I had a fly fishing buddy who loved old steel fly rods, and American Fork & Hoe (later True Temper) bass rods right after the war are choice.
I have a couple of older TOC curiosity bait rods I wouldn't take fishing, but they look right with period reels.
Um, I have the original pages in frames, really don't need higher res files.
