Does anyone have any knowledge on the Decade fly reels? They are a pretty click and pawl reel that is quite pricey. I have tried searching for good reviews on the reel, but nothing of substance can be found. I am just curious if any one has handled one or used one.

You have to dive into the "Press" links on the website to get a view of the innards.

thanks for your extra effort to pm the photo.

The click pawl has a stout-looking hairpin spring, and a round-headed pawl that could be Hardy.
It should work great, and while it's not designed for tension adjustment, you may be able to "tweak" the spring to affect tension and pawl lead.

I've been in this shop, but did not see these reels at the time...they do sell Hardy reels, and I think there is some affiliation between the maker and this shop, so the Hardy influence may of come from there...It's about 15 min from my house, so I'll stop by to handle these reels...the wood finish is pretty...

If anyone has a specific questions from handling them, I'll do what I can and report back. That is if they have them on display.
