This note is for desertrat and desmobob who are serious fans of this reel too.

Just added the model IV to my Odyssey + II and II reels. It too has the cork, click/pawl, and rulon disc drag system; and a soft rubber handle. The serial # is 20899-5517 and that means it was made in September 1999 I am told.

Now I'm on a hunt for a spey rod to match it --- maybe, an Echo 8134 glass spey rod would do IF I can find one. My carbon spey rods are too light for it.
