Daiwa SF706 springs

Just got a SF706. A cool reel but it has virtually no drag. Does anyone know how to tune the springs, or where I can get replacement parts (If I can figure how to get them off the station). Any guidance is most appreciated.

try driving them off the stantion with a popsicle stick. I have a strip of spanish cedar that's just the right size.
Simply spread them, reinstall, try again.
When you like them, bake in your oven at 350oF for 15 min.
