I know that there's a company One-Pfoot that makes parts (including thin foots...feet?) for Pflueger Medalists. Is there a company or person out there that makes thinner reel foots for Martins? Specifically a Martin Model 65 that I want to use on a Butter Stick.

lucky for you, Martin and Pflueger foot posts are on the exact same centers.
Here's an M68 I had Bill make me a set of spacers to fit a OnePfoot - classed up an already classy reel.
Take a good caliper measurement of the inside distance between the side plates, and contact Dan.

Thanks Bulldog. I kinda figured that it would be you responding to my post. Is there anything that you don't know about reels? I will contact Dan.

That will be the slickest way to go.

One other option: if you run across a parts reel, many Martins had a machined aluminum or cast foot. These can be fit to the caliper click reels as well; it may be necessary to swap out the pillars that attach the foot as well.

Thanks to the info in this thread, I contacted Joe at one-pfoot to get a reel foot for a Martin 67A. The measurements that I sent him matched up perfectly with the pfoot 1 model. When I got it, I found that the diameter of the screw heads were too small and passed through the holes on the 67A. I remedied this by simply buying four tiny washers at my local hardware store. I may get the right screws for the job at some point, but the washers work fine for now.

If you're considering to purchase a pfoot for a Martin reel, then I would suggest asking Joe if he could send screws with a larger diameter head.
