These papers came with a rencent parts purchase I made from Valentine Fly Reels.
Valentine's web site has the 1st page (green page) I posted but does not have a parts list for the single action reels.

They do have these parts available!

Reel Papers continues to be one of the most useful references for vintage flyreel papers on the net. I've heard from so many enthusiasts who were delighted to find missing papers for their reels.

Members, please consider posting papers not yet listed- from your boxes, catalogs, and magazines- for others who, like you, will benefit from and appreciate your contributions.

Could someone please re-list the reel papers for THE ROSS REEL. The R series is the one I need.

Thanks,

Russ

This is from the papers for a 356 Flymax reel, but the specifics and internals are much the same for the 1 and 2 series reels.

Even though the reel is a 456 the included manual also includes the line capacities for the 678. I wasn't sure if the line capacity would be readable so I enlarged that section just to be certain.

Am looking for the paper/instructions for a Martin Blue Chip automatic (1950?). Can not figure out how to change the bale/spool.

Came upon an almost mint Intrepid Gear Fly Light Weight with box and papers. Well, couldn't say box and papers mint.... I love these little reels for crappie (hmm...white perch for some folks) and bream fishing from my little boat and canoe. Let the purists gasp, but just about better than an automatic. Ha! Whrlpool already has a great post re same and it's brethren on page 3 of Reel Papers but thought these scans might be just a little bit easier to read if someone trying to locate parts from a buddy or figure out how to separate handle from spool.

Dylan, you did good.
Fly guy, you gotta put the name of the reel in text in your post or no one will ever be able to search it.
I don't have the option of correcting that oversight myself any more.
