Graywolf Raised Pillar reels are now available! These reels are 3 inches pillar to pillar & have a 3/4in width they hold plenty of backing along with 2 to 5wt lines! A simple reel with a two way clicker, along with a clean, handsome look.

Frame and spool are made of aluminum along with the black anodized side plates. Stainless steel screws with brass internal parts. The clicker works great, is of medium strength & the directional winding bias is fairly neutral, so right or left hand wind is achievable. This reel weights in at 4.9oz so it is perfect for just about all the rods up to 5wt I offer. The reels come in a modest drawstring pouch.

Classic styling to outfit your finest cane and glass rods. Don’t let the value price fool you. The Model 1 is nice little reel - though similar design, it's a long way from the first ZYZ I handled a decade ago.
I'll go so far as to say it's a long positive way from the Ballan reel that ZYZ initially copied Ballan's mistakes.

Excellent wind/pay bias adjustment on the check, by loosening the caliper spring screws and slightly rotating the spring to realign the pawl -
- making this one of the few caliper clickers you really want on a fly reel.
The spring rate is very smooth, and you can make it feel like a nice clockwork click-pawl, in either wind direction.
